While we stood there watching, American gun manufacturers flooded the
country with their product. Now we have no control over distribution

I don't get it. What do guns have to do with all this?
These crazy people could just as well have used saw blades as Frisbees
and do the same damage.
If you want regulate guns, you'll have to regulate saw blades.
Then what's to keep nut jobs from notching Frisbees, and putting razor
blades in the notches? Next thing is a law-abiding guy can't get a good
shave.
Besides that, you're talking about taking away Frisbees from law-abiding
little kids and Border Collies.
