A minor correction:

The maternity leave regulations in Norway have two different time
periods to be choosen from:

a) 44 weeks with 100% of regular wages, OR
b) 54 weeks with 80% of regular wages.

As per january 2013, the maximum annual maternity leave payment provided
by the public social welfare system in Norway is limited to NOK 492,732
(equal to approx. US$ 91,250).

You can't have it both ways. If all abortion is illegal, like you
allegedly compassionate Christian righties want, then babies will be
born with horrid long suffering defects, addictions, and the like. Let
alone that a lot of mothers may die in the process of giving birth to
these fetuses. But, that's okay to you for some odd reason.
