How many weeks of paid maternity leave provided by various countries?

Canado 50

Norway 44

A minor correction:

The maternity leave regulations in Norway have two different time

periods to be choosen from:

a) 44 weeks with 100% of regular wages, OR

b) 54 weeks with 80% of regular wages.

As per january 2013, the maximum annual maternity leave payment provided

by the public social welfare system in Norway is limited to NOK 492,732

(equal to approx. US$ 91,250).

Well, I will leave the beer swilling and butt plugging to you and your
cowardly little piglet... You know, the one you still pay bills for?
