I've been in Seattle a couple of times over the years. I hit it just
right as well... the weather was great, mostly sunny, nice, no rain
to speak of.
I must be livin right! :-)
You should have stayed overnight, it would have changed to rain!!
annual rainfall (NOAA)
inches
Miami, Fla. 58.53
Fort Myers, Fla. 54.19
Atlanta, Ga. 50.2
Boston, Mass. 42.53
Washington, DC 41.8
Seattle, Wash. 38.25
Portland, OR 37.07
Seattle has about half the days of clear, sunny weather as, say,
Baltimore or Washington, D.C., and, of course, you can't really swim in
the waters there. But Seattle is a nice place. I've never understood,
though, why pleasure boating is so popular up there. Fishing I can
understand, lots of interesting fish, but boating for the sake of
boating, when you get frostbite if you get ocean splash on you?
The shear beauty of the area.
