Same here. S&W 38 Special (2-inch barrel) for basic home invasion
defense. At 25 yards I am lucky to even hit the target, but at 25 feet
it is very accurate. Also have a Walther PPK/2 380 for the very few
times I carry and my favorite, a Ruger Single-Ten .22LR revolver. Oh,
and a 20 gauge Winchester shotgun.

Just came back from the range. Really like the Ruger. Fun to shoot,
accurate as hell and ammo is cheap. Pistols are nice and all, but I am
definitely a revolver guy. Simple. Just load, aim, pull the trigger
and it goes "bang".



I had a Single-Six for a while. Fine revolver. I didn't like having to
knock the spent shells out, though, which is why I like DA revolvers more.

Also had an unused, matched set of Ruger SA "cowboy" revolvers, which I
sold some time ago. I'm sort of looking for a good DA "cowboy style"
revolver in 45 long colt.
