Indeed. I returned something to HD my wife bought on line because
she
didn't like it. The return desk has a digicam there, taking snaps
of
everyone who comes to the store to return something.

I imagine the fraud department gets a good look at everyone
returning
things.

Yeah, probably millions per day, and they check every single one
against
a picture......

That's why they have computers.

And just what do you think they do with that gold mine of information?
You are starting to sound like Ron Paul!!

They will have a profile on people they suspect of bring stolen
merchandize back to stores and they do prosecute.

I know Home Depot uses their surveillance for all sorts of things
My wife has a commercial account there and they have asked her all
sorts of things about her shopping patterns in a survey. It is clear
they were watching her, tracking her path through the store.. She was
in a scuffle in the parking lot and the next time she walked into the
store the manager was on her in about a minute, asking if she was OK.
That sounds like facial recognition to me. The casinos have been doing
it for years.

Yeah... sure.... That's odd, I've been going to the same Home Depot for
17 years. Several of my associates have commercial accounts. The only
difference when we go there between they and I is that they have the
luxury of 30 net.

And they may not buy that much.

Two of them are contractors buying there on a daily basis.
