ducked into Pakistan.
At that point, we had no real reason to be in Afghanistan.
I understand there was so much criticism of missing OBL based on not
having enough troops (whether that would have made any difference or
not) there that Bush invaded in force.

Doing good in afghanistan means not going in in the first place.

Indeed I momentarily was deceived by Bush.

You mean you let your emotions overtake your intellect.

And he hasn't gotten much use of his intellect since.
