the
cable should have the following wires:
WHITE - NMEA IN (A)
BLUE - NMEA IN (B)
GREEN - NMEA OUT (A)
Thin BLACK - 0 volts and NMEA OUT (B)
RED - 12 volts power
YEOMAN Thick BLACK (screen) is optional. Connect to ship's ground or
0 volts.

Steve, sorry I got busy and didn't logon to usenet for a while......
This pinout is correct, however, Yeoman DID produce a version that
was ONLY a data receiver. This model has no NMEA output as it is only
designed to be connected to a GPS receiver to give it current position
data (RMB or RMC statement). If your unit has no green wire, that's
the unit you bought. Lionheart's XL Sport has the wires Peter posted
here.....
