Default Loran on the great lakes

Your right but, for those sunny days that start out that way and
deteriorate into 1/2 mile in haze. This always happens to me when I'm
fishing and not looking west.

Why on a sunny day would you need anything but your eyeballs for
cruising? I've crossed Lake Michigan many times and cruised many
sunny days with only a compass.
