It's an advertisement. Notice the reference to the 'backyard'. That's where folks stay - Virginia
and Maryland. It's why the Metro is so crowded whenever something is happening in DC. Folks are
coming in from MD and VA.
Most federal employees live in Md and DC too. That is why traffic is
such a nightmare. They now try to get as far away from DC as they can.
People are commuting in from as far away as Harry's neighborhood.
I think you meant to say most live in MD and 'VA' too. And you're right about Harry's area. Driving
south on Rt 4, during rush hour, is packed.
It is, indeed, though the traffic does keep moving pretty well, even
with the lights, until Prince Frederick, where it jams up for 10 minutes
or so between 4 and 7 pm. That's why we use the commuter bus and let the
bus driver deal with the traffic.
Even with our rush traffic, though, we're still in a much nicer area
than your overcrowded, heavily polluted, gang-and-racist-infested part
of Fairfax County.
Absolutely! ESAD, you live in the nicest area in the entire Atlantic seacoast area!
This area in which I live is miserable. But, we're tough.
