Wikipedia has a handful of scholarly or semi-scholarly definitions of
terrorism. One of these states that a terrorist organization:

is ineluctably political in aims and motives

is violent or, equally important, threatens violence (uh, like "cold,
dead hands?")

is designed to have far-reaching psychological repercussions beyond the
immediate victim or target

is conducted by an organization with an identifiable chain of command or
conspiratorial cell structure (whose members wear no uniform or
identifying insignia) and perpetrated by a subnational group or
non-state entity.

nope.

Sounds like the NRA to me.

maybe so, but you could say the same about any organization, Harry.
And that includes most Corporations as well as Unions.

Especially the Unions. They advocate violence and produce it, look at
Wisconsin last week. The NRA has never come out and said "there will be
blood" and then gone out and drawn blood, that very day...
