Maybe you can't read between the lines, but if the knife wielder
wanted those kids dead. They would be.


And just what does that tell you about the difference between our two
societies and American's ability to handle weapons responsibly?

We are a nation of desperate people, with no national mental health
system (thanks to Reagan) a diminishing income vs. expense rate and a
society that promotes violence as a justifiable means to resolving
conflicts.

Think making guns real available is a good idea?

Regan did not shut down the mental health system. He went along with a
very liberal Legislature who wanted community health centers. So he
went along with the legislature. Not worth fighting. The Regional
Centers were actually funded under Regan. Since about Grey Davis, they
have been cut tremendously.
