Right on. Any fool would be able to figure out that any
white light in you eyes at nigh would end your night vision.
Don't let the CG see you with any thing but the normal
running lights on unless you are docking. Boots USCGA

just remember it is not legal to have lights on like
head
lights while you are under way. The only light that you
can
have on are the running(red &green) while underway.
Which rule is that?
Thanks. I think this would fall under the 'common sense'
rule.
Unfortunately we don't see much of that anymore and we end
up having
rules like 'Don't burn yourself on this scalding hot
coffee'. I want
to strictly use them for docking and had considered a
handheld
floodlight. I thought it'd be more convenient to not have
to store
away the lantern with the limited storage I have. Besides,
I thought
it'd just be kind of cool too... and isn't that what's most
important?
