I'm sure but originally they said the girders had to be replaced. That
did not happen.


Years ago, when I was in college and working nights, I passed a dump truck
near Army st. On US 101. Just after passing, his bed came up and hit and
dropped the pedestrian overpass just north of Army. Blocking the complete
freeway. I was not even off the Central Expressway when they announced the
freeway being closed. Maybe 5 minutes after the accident.
