You are wrong. This is a perfect example of what the "righties"
prefer. We prefer to choose where we donate *our* money. We prefer to
*not* let the government choose who receives our hard-earned income. We
don't like to see the money *we earn* handed out to crack-head derelicts
and career welfare losers over and over again. That's my opinion and
many of the "righties" will probably agree.
I also don't like the government spending *my* money on inconsequential
things like The National Endowment for the Arts while there are diseases
to cure.
I don't like the government spending *my* money on foreign aid while
there are unresolved problems with the long-term funding of programs
like social security here in the US. Do I really have to retire at 67
instead of 65 1/2 (yes that's a big difference!) even though I have paid
more into the system than those before me?
