I am looking at purchasing a 1999 2858' Bayliner that sank in fresh

water in a clean northwest lake! I understand that i will probably have

to replace all wiring, instruments, interior and go through the motor.. I

built boats for a living at a local factory so much of this i can do

myself. They are asking $3600 for the boat but i think i could get it

for around $2800. would this be a resonable deal or should i still walk

away from this boat like so many people would do?

They want too much.

I'm thinking that if he got it for free, in the end when it's "lake-worthy" he'd still be upside down on it.

My thoughts too.
