Winterized the boat and had the marina yank it last week. Beautiful
weekend to work on a boat but a shame...end of season. what a nice
year it was...and 6 months to Spring!
Glad you could have a great time, Bob. I never got to use my boat this
year. The mid-west drought brought the water levels in the lakes to a
dangerous level. Oh, I probably could have taken the little 18 footer
out, but I didn't want to risk ripping up another lower end... The
13 footer, would have been guaranteed destruction.
I just called the marina to see if I could bring my boat in today. They are taking nothing until
after Hurricane Sandy (named after my wife!). They're on the Potomac River and are really worried
about a tidal surge flooding the whole damn place.
Hope all remains well with them.
Rent some space in your yard to store a couple of boats
