As the Clipperrace restart in my hometown took place on the day before my
holiday, I had only been able to post a few pictures sofar. After my
holidys I have finally found time to make a better selection and do some
editing, so I'm planning to post some more for you. There might be a repost
here and there, hope you don't mind.

These pics show the boats leaving the dock to prepare for the start. Every
ship shook her lines under the sound of their "ship-anthem". For the most
part well know hits..


The first pic show Sir Robin Knox Johnston, the founder of the Clipper Race
and an ocean racing legend.

When the last yacht had left the dock we were transported by touringcar to
the harbour where we berthed the Abel Tasman. A three masted tradtional
sailing vessel. The last few pics show some details of the Abe;l Tasman (I
didn't succeed in getting a good picture of her) and some ships in the
