Probably true though. When I was in Alaska a few years ago, I was told by
an Alaskan that the state was a very civil place. With the amount of
firearms that were possessed and most people carried, that you just did not
get in fights. In the Old West days, the most dangerous area was NYC.
There were places near the waterfront where the cops never went as it was
too dangerous. Other than a few border towns in the west, it was pretty
quiet crime wise. Bad guys did not live long prosperous lives. Someone
ambushed them.
Show me data that says that more guns means less crime.
Look at the FBI's crime database for the states that allow concealed
carry.
