Well, the marina is ready to replace the dock my slip is on with a
new one. Not only is it time to get rid of the old one, they are
under a mandate to get rid of the old foam flotation with new,
encapsulated flotation. So, we've been asked to relocate the boat
for a month or so while they perform the work.
They offered one of their "courtesy" slips, which is located right at
the ramp. I don't like that as it gets all the traffic, and exposes
me to some yahoo hitting the boat or motor while maneuvering on/off
their trailer.
So, my dilemma is whether to ask if he'll put it in an empty slot in
dry storage or just pull it and store it on the trailer.
Specifically, has anyone used dry storage and have you had issues
with boat damage?

By dry storage I assume you mean in a rack, loaded and unloaded by
fork lift?
I stored my old runabout that way in Connecticut for several years
with no problems. A lot depends on the skill of the forklift
operator of course.
Yeah, I would add that it depends on weather or not the marina is equipt
for the tri hull.
EDIT, I meant, multi hull...
