The same thing all the "anonymous" posters here are afraid of...that
someone will call them out on their snottiness and do something about it.

It's absolutely stupid and anyone with any sense would tell you that
it's stupid to give out your personal information on usenet. You do
realize, don't you, that people with any type of mental condition has
access to your information, right? That means that a murderer, a rapist,
a thief, a scammer, anyone has access to your information. Do you think
that's smart to give them that?


It's a nice excuse you offer up but of course it means there is no
reason to give credibility to *anything* you post. You're just a
collection of electrons. There's nothing real about posters who work
overtime to maintain their anonymous posture.

Well then, please show me one article by an expert that would suggest
that it's a good idea to give out your real information on usenet. I'll
