I'm no fan of Harry Reid, but he did say something clever and apt this week:


On Wednesday, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid suggested Romney would
never win Senate confirmation for a Cabinet position because "he won't
show anybody his tax returns." But as Politico reports, Reid took that
criticism a step further on Thursday, saying that Romney couldn't even
win confirmation to be a "dog catcher."

"He not only couldn't be confirmed as a Cabinet secretary, he couldn't
be confirmed as a dog catcher, because a dog catcher... you're at least
going to want to look at his income tax returns," Reid said.

The Romney campaign did not immediately respond for a request for comment.
