JACKSON, Mich. ? A woman said she kept the dead body of her
companion in
a chair in their southern Michigan house for months because she
didn?t
want to be alone.
Linda Chase, 72, said she kept the remains of Charles Zigler
clean and
dressed and talked to the body while watching NASCAR on television.
?It?s not that I?m heartless. ... I didn?t want to be alone. He
was the
only guy who was ever nice to me,? Chase told the Jackson Citizen
Patriot.
Jackson police discovered Zigler?s body in a living room chair last
week. Authorities believe he died of natural causes at age 67 in
December 2010, although Chase said it was last December. She
said there
wasn?t a bad smell.
She has not been arrested but is being investigated for
financial fraud.
Chase admits cashing Zigler?s benefit checks after his death.

She did all of that because she's a NASCAR fan?
D'oh.
Maybe he was a NASCAR fan. Where is the humor in all of this?
Or is this just an effort to discredit NASCAR or belittle it's fans.
I am at a loss to understand why you posted this.
Please explain.
Oh, you know, if Harry doesn't enjoy it, no one should. If Harry
doesn't
do it, no one should. If Harry doesn't eat is, no one should.
What is he a liberal?
Mikek
What are you, as bigoted as Harry and Scotty?
I'd considered myself to be a fiscal conservative and social
moderate.
I liked the way America was when 4 million people
had the freedom to become the greatest economic and military power
on earth with a simple constitution and capitalism as the guiding hands.
When people were responsible for themselves, helped their neighbors and
didn't look to government to buy their food, housing, telephone and more!
America became prosperous in only 150 years, 6 generations of
families, from 1776 to 1925 after WW1. Yes we had slavery and that was a
terrible thing, but society has changed and you can become what want
with hard work.
I'm married to a minority whose family came here with nothing and are
living the American dream, they worked hard, put there kids through
college (most of them anyway :-) and are living on their investments.
And guess what, it has rubbed of on me and I'm working hard and expect
to live off my assets.
And you?
Mikek
Please don't bother addressing this retarded child when he makes his
insane accusations using my name directly. The guy is a typical
progressive, playing the race card, and making up the rest as he goes
along..... I mean when you have a guy who is so embarassed about his
action here he hides when everybody knows who he is anyway, do you
really think he is worth the time of day??? Really, remember who he
really is, and the history here..
