I suspect he wasn't really fired, they just did decide to accept his
resignation. I really don't care., When people are on a witch hunt,
there is always collateral damage. Lee was actually trying to reform
what used to be a pretty bad police department. I doubt he will have a
hard time finding a new job.

Who exactly is using this case for re-election, and how are they using
it? Try to be specific. Talking about the case doesn't get you re-elected.
