"Hey, I'm not sure if all of you bandwagon-patriots have noticed or not,
but all of the ribbons in the world won't help ****! If you want to help
the troops, give them something they want like armor for their vehicles
or a friggin' trip home. Slapping a magnet on your gas guzzling SUV in
the middle of a war for oil just makes you look like a giant fool!"

Maybe those ribbons should say "support our war-based economy".

So instead of turning a motivational post into a sour political one by
sniveling about a "war-based economy"....

Donate to some fine organizations like What you would find at
http://troopssupport.com/or

I do and have for quite some tie now.

The way to support the troops is to bring them home as quickly as
possible and not let war-mongering presidents like Bush be elected.

Well, I'd say that should be taken up with the sitting congress and
comander-in-chief, but until further withdraw is ordered, then one
should support the soldier collectively or individually while he/she
is doing their job.

If the United States can't supply its war-zone troops with the gear they
need, they should not be sent to a war zone. Military moms, dads,
spouses, et cetera, should hold massive demonstrations in front of
Congress to insist that the soldiers be properly equipped immediately or
be brought home.
