I was offshore, fishing.

I couldn't go boating this weekend. Local lakes and rivers are way to
shallow for comfort. We need some northern rain badly. No- we need
some local rain badly. It's really getting dry around the midwest.

We had a good little t-storm last night that dropped about an inch. Won't do much for lakes and
rivers, but it saves me a week's worth of watering grass!

We have enough heavy dew here to keep the grass green, but that's
about it.

Had thunder, lightning and heavy rain showers here last night.
Dog woke me up at 0230hrs by nudging my arm.. d'oh! I thought he
needed to pee.. but he just wanted to find out what the booming was
all about.

It was another of dem loudmouthed southern boys bellowing for more
'shine'.
He went back to his bed secure that no threat was present.

That was WAY beyond stupid.
