The tissue sample that was removed from her leg has been analyzed. The tumor was, in fact, a grade 2
mast cell tumor. That was the bad news, but the vet had already guessed that. The good news was that
the margins of the sample were clean - no mast cells. Hopefully, it's gone and won't come back.

great news and give my regards to the patient!

Thanks, I'll do that. She's been at the vet's for the past couple days, 'cause she pulled three or
four stitches out of the incision.

yeah my one dog had bloat...she survived but pulled out all her
stitches. she looked damn funny, but very much alive, with that silly
cone around her head.

We've been up at the Gettysburg Bluegrass Festival for the past week, and the dog has had the cone
on a whole lot of the time. The damn thing has more duct tape than clear space on it any more. Today
I took her in for the vet to check the 'new' stitches - the ones she got after pulling out the
others. The vet looked at the cone and called her a 'junkyard dog'.

I'll have to get a picture of her.
