Everything for the devoted clam lover...including how to prepare
delicious full belly clams.

Check out the "kit":

Clams are decent bait. I wouldn't eat one that came out of the water
within 100 miles of a US city or from the outflow of a city or a farm
community

I understand cooking kills E-coli but it doesn't remove the yuck
factor.

Yeah, and they are nothing but filters!!! Funny, the same people that
won't eat very tasty catfish will eat clams!

The biggest problem with catfish is cleaning them.
Fresh water cats are pretty good (not "farm raised").
Garden variety sea cats are not worth it but if you get a 10 pound
sail cat it is worth your while. Put the head on an ant hill and in a
week or so you have a souvenir for a religious snowbird

Yep, cleaning them is a pain, but worth the trouble, and not that bad
once you get the hang of it. I hang them on a nail to skin them.
