Report: Texas Executed

What a surprise, yet another off topic post.
It's a public service to trash mindless "conservathink" wherever it is
found.

It is tragic if an innocent person was executed, and if so, those
responsible should be held accountable to the extent possible. It
has nothing to do with liberal or conservative politics however except
in the eyes of someone who frames everything as a political issue.
Of course it does. Executions for the most part are held in states that
are politically conservative. More progressive states have either
outlawed or abandoned executions. Since 1976, the 10 leading states for
execution:
Texas 482
Virginia 109
Oklahoma 99
Florida 73
Missouri 68
Alabama 55
Georgia 52
Ohio 47
North Carolina 43
South Carolina 43
Texas, possibly the most extreme "conservative" state in the nation,
has a sordid history when it comes to "questionable" executions.
Unfortunately, there is little legal recourse for society or surviving
relatives to extract their pound of flesh against "overzealous"
conservative politicians, who apparently think executions help their
popularity.
