Never worked for the UAW when I was in Detroit. I worked for a private
corporation there, a large advertising,
PR, and marketing agency. I
handled a research book publishing company, a mortgage banking company,
a political client, and a record company.
The problems the U.S. automakers had were entirely the fault of their
****-poor management and their inability to compete against foreign
automakers.
I don't know or care what you did for a living, Wayne, but I doubt you
ever produced anything as significant as an assembled car. My guess is
that you were a paper shuffler.
