Not at all, been there done that, just like you.
The problems start when unskilled assembly line workers begin to think
that they are entitled to the same compensation and benefits as
skilled tradesmen such as machinists, welders and electricians, not to
mention professionals like teachers and nurses.
Perhaps the answer is that we grossly underpay skilled tradesmen and
professionals such as teachers and nurses. We certainly overpay most
executives at larger corporations; the ratios between top execs and line
workers are obscene.
