Where's your proof that the murdered boy was attempting to do that? Got
any? No? Didn't think so.

This whole case has been based on theories and innuendo from the git
go. Why shouldn't Martin get the benefit of some of that?
It sure looks like he is a thief.

There doesn't seem to be much proof that Zimmerman attacked Martin
first or that he acted "evincing a depraved mind" either but that is
what was charged.

I really think this whole thing is just a way for Corey to attack the
stand your ground law and she expects to lose this.

Zimmerman was a hot headed vigilante that was so crazed that 911
dispatchers often ignored him. Oh, and on Zimmerman's own website there
is nothing about looking into cars. He says the kid was walking around
looking at the houses.

From the prosecution affidavit:

"During this time, Martin was on the phone with a friend and described
to her what was happening," the affidavit said. "The witness advised
that Martin was scared because he was being followed through the complex
by an unknown male and didn't know why.

And:

"When the police dispatcher realized Zimmerman was pursuing Martin, he
instructed Zimmerman not to do that and that the responding officer
would meet him. Zimmerman disregarded the police dispatcher and
continued to follow Martin who was trying to return to his home."

And then this:

"Zimmerman confronted Martin and a struggle ensued," prosecutors said in
their account.

So, if Zimmerman did persue and initiate contact, the stand your ground
rule won't work.
