Hey Vic!
Leave the 29th out of it. We've got enough to put up with
only getting a birthday every 4 years.

Hey Hoges!
You're the first person I've "met" with that birth date.
Maybe I don't around enough.
Looks like you do though.
I recall you were going to meet up with some posters here.
Ever happen?
I looked up Exuma Park.
They say it's hard to leave there.

Hi Vic.
I was actually at college in the same group as a guy with a common 29th
and didn't know until our third year, which was a Leap Year. He's only
14, though. I turned 15 this year.

Yes I have caught up with a couple. I had a delightful lunch and long
chat with Skip and Lydia when we were in Ft Pierce. I passed Roger
several times through the Dismal Swamp and finally saw him tie up in
front of the restaurant I was having lunch in in Elizabeth City.

I also spent a fantastic couple of days with Larry in Charleston,
eating, telling stories, listening to stories, fixing stuff.
We went for a drive around Charleston in his infamous Air Force
Step van, with Carol sitting on an office chair secured with a bungee
cord to the side and me sitting on some speakers. What a truck!
Well, we wouldn't fit in his Smart Car. We even took him to
the Charleston Museum, as he'd never been! I guess you don't
"tour" your own town, eh.
I went down to Key West by car and had a look for others of interest
on the way but I think that's all. We missed Wayne as he travelled
down the Bay - damn trawlers move too quick for us.

We met quite a few people from various forums or publications as
we came down the ICW.

We had a whale of a time in the US and now will have to wait
about 5 or 6 years to get the boat home so that we can fly
back.
