I'll burn a few copies this afternoon and get one to you in the
mail
soon. It is a proprietary file format played only by the 'court
reporter' software. Fortunately, the player is included on the CD
in
its
own folder. You'll have to install the player then use it to open
the
file.

Wilbur, if you want, make an .ISO of it and email it to me. I'll
either put it on my server with a link here or I might can get it
transcribed and post it.

If the audio part is in a file, you could maybe .ZIP it and the
player, email each file separately, whatever.

Totally your call.

Rick

I zipped it and it's 38 megabytes. I could try e-mailing it to you
if
you can make it available on a server.

Is your real email or do I have to remove the
asterisks.

Wilbur Hubbard

Bad news. Gmail limits attachment size to 25 meg. Even breaking up the
folders into separate zip files the audio file is just too large to
fit
the 25 megabyte threshold.

Sending you a CD might be the best way to go.

Wilbur Hubbard

Dang it! I was concerned about that.

Send a CD if not a problem. I'll do something with it to make
available on my server and hopefully get it in text form as well. BTW,
just remove the "*"'s from my email address.

Send to:

Yep, we're stuck 300 miles plus from sal****er. Up here because
daughter wanted mama to help with twin boys born in Oct. We can't wait
to get back down to WARM South Padre!

Here's an alternative:

http://www.hjsplit.org/

I've used that program for years. You can ZIP the files, then use
hjsplit to split the ZIP into multiple files small enough to email. I
can then "join" them back together.

Might save you a few bucks for anyone else wanting it at the moment.

Rick

I tried that splitter, thanks it could be a handy thing later sometime,
but the Internet connection with Gmail is just way too slow. I waited
for five minutes and a single file of 10 megs (one of four) was less
than 1/4 sent. I'll burn you a CD and send it off tomorrow. Maybe when
you get the CD you could upload it to an FTP site or some such in case
somebody wishes to download it.
