Just show up at the emergency room. If you have a MediCal (welfare )
card,
you go to a doctors office. Not all doctors take MediCal but a large
bunch

i'm an EMT. we take lots of cancer and heart patients to the ED.
unfortunately this is because they couldnt get medical care so a
treatable problem turned into an expensive emergency

I guess the state of California is wrong. Their statement no mine. And if
you have no assets, you go on welfare. You are probably taking heart and
cancer people to emergency for emergency reasons. Not for normal care.
