Florida CCW classes teach that it is OK to shoot a fleeing criminal in
the back because they may turn and attack. That is the rationale in
any case. Apparently the courts have upheld that point of view or
they wouldn't be teaching it. Of course you must show reasonable
cause that you were endangered/threatened in the first place.
