I'll be farmer's would be out there in droves if the government cut
off their subidies. There's be a ****load of tractor drivers out in
the streets.


It's coming, and has been trimmed down a lot but not eliminated. Both
Bush's and Clinton pushed to end the subsidies, but it never got
totally though.

is driving up the cost of food and gumming up our carburetors.


Yep, but government buddies own biofuels, their subsidy. Against
fleabagger rules to let people have a choice. Me, the ethanol doesn't
get the millage so I know I get only a 90% fill up.

Amazes me how many people don't see that a few hundred corrupt
politicians somehow are not going to make better decisions on fuel than
100's of millions of consumers.
