Gates ? Hippie? I don't think so.
Gates was always a capitalist, whether it was scamming his fellow
students at Harvard in poker games or scamming Gary Kildall out of his
operating system.
Gates screwed a lot of people over the years. Jobs and Tichie had far
more integrity than Gates.
Jobs and Apple in general are far from the altruistic patriots they
get represented as too. If they were, the "I" products would not be
made by slaves in China, they would have factories in California. (the
products are certainly expensive enough to support US workers). They
might as well be the Waltons.
They all were successful for providing people what they wanted.
Really, this is just your envy and greed talk. If you can produce
stuff people want to pay for, what is holding you back? Envy and greed
is easy, doing something productive takes effort. Apple, Walmart and
others provide more jobs than a fleabaggers ass does.

Eat the rich, screw the companies and wonder why there are no jobs. But
we have big huge government we can't afford...
