Most civilized countries have done away with capital punishment. People
of the United States *love* executions, though, since we're the only
country in the so-called "New World" that has them. We should be proud
of the good, fundamentalist Christian-dominated states that give us our
standing: Texas, Alabama, Ohio, Virginia, and Oklahoma are the states
with the most executions since since 2007.
That, our lack of a real national health care program, our disdain for
the jobs and lives of middle and lower income workers, why, we're
heading right for the dung heap nationally.
