Teak is nice for interior applications where a couple coats of varnish lasts
almost forever. For outside use teak is just too much work for this sailor.

I'm not going to batten down as the most wind we're going to get here is
about 25 knots which I will welcome to help break the oppressive heat
somewhat. I did renew my mooring chain a couple days ago so I'm good to go.
.. . Freaking 3/8" chain is now up to about ten bucks a foot. Good grief!
