Union people buy imported, don't see why we shouldn't. You worded the
above well. But let us not also forget the cost of government and
unions beyond the individual worker. The who cost model of USA for most
products is simply not there. Hydro, property taxes, water costs, fuel,
raw materials, management and of course labour are all non-competitive.

canuck's kinda stupid so he doesnt realize

-union membership is 5X higher in canada than it is in the US

Didn't deny that at all. Government even legislated the recent lard
assed posties back to work.

dodging the issue. unions arent the problem

-canada has lower unemployment than the US

Because 1) our dollar has strengthened.

because you have unions

socialized medicine

and regulated your banks, unlike 'free market' america'

2) We have resources China
wants keeping our dollar worth something. 3) Not quite as much
government debt and less debt spending per capita than the USA. 4) Less
tax threats of hyper-taxation.

you guys are fighting the last war. inflation hasnt been above 3% for
10 years

moron

Yep, doesn't take much. Just a little more integrity.

Manufacturing part, wiped out just like the USA. Same reasons, stupid
costs and not enough profits. Just union larding. Most unemployed in
Canada are former union getting their wake up call.

HAHAHAH union larding. notice how he IGNORES the fact CANADA with
THIRTY PERCENT union membership has LOWER unemployment than the US??

WHAT AN IDIOT! there's NOTHING you can say to this idiot that will
make an impression!

gee. if his right wing economics were true, the US would have almost
no unemployment since we have almost no unions

but that's not the case, is it, moron?

China, India, Brazil, Chile, Australia and Canada are all doing better
than the USA. They all share having less debt, less deficit and less
money print fraud.

they all have strong unions except for 3rd world countries. and the US
is BECOMING a 3rd world country, courtesy of the right

debt isnt the problem, idiot. get it through your thick skull

debt is not the problem.

Yes they are. But agree in that the real problems are much bigger, but
their attitude towards the problem is a problem. The lunch bucket
mentality is counterproductive.

Watched big mouth Obama this afternoon. Blaming republicans for
stagnent DC, what did Obama do the first two years he was in??? Pick
his ass an nose with a democrat congress and a democrat senate?

HAHAHA he got what canada already has

universal healthcare

moron

racist scumbag

Ya, and it is failing. Have a growth in your gut? Better hope it isn't
cancerous as it might take 6 months to get it looked at. Or say your
vision, need an operation might be 2 years. 40% of the people where I
am don't have family doctors as they don't have enough of them.

Universal yes, good no. If it is routing bone sets or birth of future
taxpayers they are good at it. Anything to get you back to work paying
taxes. Your job status also is used to queue your wait status, yep
rationed services.

Government gets the taxes and the people get dumbed down services. Even
premiers like Newfoundland Williams goes to Florida not Canada for his
heart surgery. And look at the premier as the head of health care for
his province and does not use the services available to the commoner.

Know the RCMP are not investigation as it is their bosses we are talking
about and the arrangements are all made by untraceable means. But we
all know it happens. I have enough family members to see the patterns,
retired aunt waits 2 years, working uncle waits 3 weeks for the same op.
