Anyone going to the Caribbean from East Coast??

Where on the 'east coast'? It's a long coast. Assuming you are starting
from way north, the best thing is to inquire along the way at
anchorages, etc. I never had any problems finding sailing boat
companions. Someone is always going your way or you'll change and go
theirs or something.

If you plan on doing the ditch, be SURE to get some local and current
pubs about latest conditions, places to stay, latest bridge data and so
forth. This is important even in a Mac 26x. It's VITAL if you have any
significant draft.

We will leave from Beaufort NC. head east past Bermuda, then turn right
and head to St Martin. We've done the trip three times before. Some
times we've done the rhumb line, other times we headed east. It depends
on the weather.
