Let's be more direct. The Soviet Union and Nazi Germany were not
socialist. They merely usurped the term.
Like I said, no pure socialist government has ever existed. The whole
concept is used to rally up the herd for support of a usually
egalitarian politically motivated government. Used to milk the herd for
power and corruption. Simply used by politicians for power as most
people find it appealing.
But in reality, socialism never works because it ignores human nature of
motivation.
