National Socialism - Nazism.

I obviously got further than you. Even knew someone once in the
Wehrmacht. Grandfather was even in the war on the Nazi side. Lost
some uncles too to the bomber runs over Germany.

Here is a hint, it was a world war. Has US ever won a war on its own?
