The thing I have problems with regarding Obama's statements is that
Social
Security payments are not at risk from a funding point of view.
The SS fund is solvent until 2037.

Now, if he and his Treasury Department decide to withhold payments in
order
to use the funds for other bills, that's
another thing and could result in some serious legal problems. He and
his
staff know that. Therefore, his statements regarding SS checks being
withheld are nothing more than scare tactics to gain support for his
side.
I don't like that kind of dishonest politics.

Depends, if 10 million Americans went on a tax protest, what is IRS
going to do? IRS relies heavily on one big fat huge government pouncing
on one little person one a time.

But what if 10 million people got together and class action law suit
against the government for tax oppression and debt enslavement, going
right to the supreme court for the constitutional arguments against
debt-tax slavery ....and holding back taxes until settled. Jail 10
million Americans? I doubt it.
