Not too many years ago it was considered good "family values" to accept
the responsibility for
having a child out of wedlock and to get married and provide for it.

I guess "good values" today would be to have a high enough credit line
on your charge card to pay for an abortion.

But what of polygamist leaving a family behind unsupported , then marry
