Default Great story...

Grifter finds new costume...

From Raw Story poster:

Several years ago, while I was running a small business, there was a
fellow running another business across the street from mine. I was
suspicious, however, that his was not a real business, but some kind
of scam. He lived high for awhile on investors' money: fancy clothes,
expensive car (which turned out to be rented), fancy home in an
expensive neighborhood. To me he was just a wise-ass kid, but he
behaved like he was some kind of corporate big shot, and a lot of
fools believed it. He even talked the city fathers into giving him a
grant to buy the building. When the bottom finally fell out his
customers and workers got stiffed and he had pocketed all the workers'
withholding tax, so IRS seized everything, including the building. He
went into hiding and his partner skipped the country. Didn't hear a
word about the guy for about four years, then he popped up as a Tea
Party activist. So, I'm not the least bit surprised to hear that some
other Tea Party people have stiffed one of their vendors; that seems
to be just the kind of folks they're prone to be.
