I haven't bought a preloaded machine since 1995. I know they do come
with a load of crap. My wife spent an hour cleaning up her dad's new
laptop. I don't know why they make a brand new machine slower than it
has to be.

Sort of a devious way of advertising really. Load in a "trial" version
of some crap you don't want or need. Hook and bait.
