to get together and have a "chat".

So are you going to try to sign up for my Google or Facebook Groups? I
can promise you, I do an extensive Google Search on all email
addresses and any other personal info submitted on an Application to
my Groups. I plan on reviewing all Facebook applicants to make sure
they have a long history in Facebook, including a list of "friends"
before I accept anyone. If I am not able to track down enough
information, I don't allow applicants in my Groups. So why don't you
**** up a rope.

You just wait, soon I will soon have enough people in my groups that
we can shut rec.boats down. Google Groups has been up and running
since March, and we have almost 10 threads and about 40 comments.
Best of all, there are no personal insults in any of the posts.
People are enjoying Don's newspaper articles and no one has to listen
to the right wing trash.

The beauty of Facebook is we will be able to invite the "friends" of
everyone who joins the Facebook Group. Facebook will expand
exponentially. It will be nice to get to know all members on a
personal basis instead of just being a handle and email address. Life
is more than just boating and fishing, and Facebook allows us to see
what everyone enjoys doing when they are not boating and fishing.

Anyone who would like to join my Facebook Group, go to the Google
Group and include your request in the "info" section. Please make
sure you use a real email address that has an a history that can be
verified in Google. I don't want any of the asshole mooks to join our
group.
