For those interested in our cruise this summer, here's a graphic of
daily position reports so far:

We're presently anchored in Great Salt Pond, Block Island, Rhode
Island. * BI is living up to its reputation with brisk southewesterly
winds, sometimes known as the Block Island Gale.

helped a buddy transfer his new sailboat from baltimore to block
island...greatest vacation of my life.

For anyone interested in cruising southern New England, I highly
recommend it.

how long did the passage take?

We left our home in southwestern Florida on May 13th and arrived in NY
Harbor on June 6, about 23 days or so. * We've done it in as little as
half that time but decided to take a more leisurely approach this
year. * That was just as well because the weather in Florida was
already starting to turn hot and humid when we departed but the
weather in Long Island Sound has left a lot to be desired until
recently. * Since we arrived in early June, we've been loafing along
revisiting some of our old favorites on LIS and stopping to see
friends here and there.

Sounds like a great trip Wayne. Glad all is a-chuggin' along like it's
supposed to.
